Kényszertörlés (compulsory strike-off)
Proceedings started by the registry court of its own motion to delete a company whose lawful operation is not restored.
Compulsory strike-off typically follows when a company does not operate lawfully despite the measures imposed in supervisory proceedings — it is unreachable at its seat, has no registered manager, or failed its filing obligation — or when it never finished its voluntary dissolution. Insolvency is not a precondition.
During the proceedings the company uses its name with the suffix „kényszertörlés alatt”, may take on no new obligations, and the proceedings end with the company's deletion from the register. If uncovered debts surface, the strike-off can convert into liquidation.
