Personnel expenses divided by the average statistical headcount — a computed value, not a disclosed wage.
Filings disclose no salaries. This figure approximates from the wage bill and the headcount, and therefore averages the whole company: executives and entry-level work in a single number.
It is thus only roughly fit for comparing two companies, and in no way says what a person in a given job earns.
