Bankszámlaszám (bank account number)
The domestic bank account identifier, 2×8 or 3×8 digits; the first three digits name the account-holding institution.
Also known as: GIRO number, routing code.
The first three digits are the routing code, which says which institution holds the account. The following digits identify the branch and the account itself, and each block's last digit is a check digit.
The 16- and 24-digit forms are two spellings of the same account; padding the shorter with zeros gives the longer. The Hungarian IBAN for international transfers is built from it.
Where you find it on Felho
On company profiles, next to the company's known account numbers, we name the holding bank and link the routing code's own page.
