  • Kft.Korlátolt felelősségű társaság — limited liability companyHungary's most widespread company form: members contribute a quota, and do not answer for the company's debts with their own assets.
  • Bt.Betéti társaság — limited partnershipA form with two kinds of member: the general partner (beltag) answers with all their assets, the limited partner (kültag) only with their contribution.
  • Zrt.Zártkörűen működő részvénytársaság — private company limited by sharesA company whose capital is divided into shares that are not listed on a stock exchange.
  • Nyrt.Nyilvánosan működő részvénytársaság — public company limited by sharesA company limited by shares whose shares trade publicly on a regulated market.
  • Kkt.Közkereseti társaság — general partnershipA partnership in which every member answers for the company's debts without limit, jointly and severally.
  • E.C.Egyéni cég — sole proprietorship companyA registered company founded by a single natural person — not the same as a sole trader (egyéni vállalkozó).
  • SzövetkezetSzövetkezet — cooperativeA business built on the members' personal participation and contributions, in which members hold equal voting rights.
