Befektetett eszközök (fixed assets)
The part of the company's assets used durably, for longer than a year.
The first big block of the balance sheet's asset side. It holds intangible assets (software, licences), tangible assets (property, machinery, vehicles) and long-term financial assets — such as durable stakes in other companies.
A large fixed-asset stock is by itself neither a good nor a bad sign: natural for a manufacturer, unusual for a consultancy. Comparison says something when it happens between companies of the same industry.
